ACE NEW MUSIC RELEASES 2021

In 2021, we extended our talent developement offering, by curating the recording & release of new music by three emerging female artists. With the support of Arts Council England, GIRLSofGRIME have been able to successfully assist artists ARIEZ BABY, LAUREN MARSHALL & C CANE in developing new music. Meet the artists and check out their new music below:

ARIEZ BABY

Ariez Baby continues to drop heat for the streets with her energetic new Drill release ‘PRESS IT’. Ariez has spent the last 2 years developing her artistry with the support of her management team at 1010 LDN. Supported by GIRLSofGRIME, Ariez has just released her first track of 2022, produced by Benji UK & Young Soul, alongside a carefully crafted music video, filmed in collaboration with clothing brand Tar Street Sport.

LAUREN MARSHALL

Excited to announce the release of Lauren Marshall’s ‘Jim Carrey’. After linking up with NW’s finest producer, Young Soul and immediately hitting it off the pair cooked up the feel good track in a late night studio session. C CANE

If you liked what C Cane done with ‘The Low’, just wait til you hear her new drop!! On Valentine's Day 2022, C Cane released ’First Person', a mixture of classic RnB and the contemporary genre of melodic Drill. C Cane has totally flipped the script with this one and has produced a tune where she sweetly sings and raps her affection as a girl in love, treating her partner - a contradiction to what happens in ‘normal’ modern gender roles!!
