BRENT 2020 - Blueprint Collective

Brent was The Mayor of London’s Borough of Culture for 2020. Having won the bid, the borough has received funding for a year long celebration of culture including amazing art, performances and events across Brent. As part of the project a new charity, Metroland Cultures, has been established. During this lockdown period GIRLSofGRIME hosted a 2-hour digital workshop & follow up on ‘How To Get Your Music Out There’ with their Blueprint Collective.

Today, Metroland Cultures' continues on their mission is to build, share and support art and culture in Brent by supporting communities to amplify stories of Brent life, and working with artists to tell new stories.
