NATIONAL THEATRE - RIVER STAGE

Hackney Empire's Young Producers team approached us to host a Girls of Grime Takeover, on 30th July 2022 at The National Theatre’s River Stage on London’s Soouthbank.. The group of young creatives, aged 14-21, curated a whole weekend of pure talent, pure energy and pure vibes, with the line-up platforming some of the best emerging artists and performances that celebrate youth culture.
Our Takeover showcased fresh female talent, including DJ Kaylee Kay and host DJ Shaxx, along with performances from Crae Wolf and Ariez Baby. The River Stage on London's Southbank was filled with a mix of Grime, Garage, and Funky house music, and the crowd was sooooooo energetic - even forming a conga line and dancing despite the rain. The night was a huge success and all ages loved every moment, and we have the audience chanting for one more after hitting our curfew & all sound went down. The Young Producers did an amazing job putting together this unforgettable experience and we'‘d love to work with them again.
