What is your Producer name & how did you come up with it?

Emmavie - it's my real name

Where did you grow up and where are you based now?

Grew up in London and now in a secret location.

What inspired you to start producing music? 

I used to be a dancer obsessed with music and taught myself how to produce music to dance to


What was the first track you ever produced?

That's going back too far in my mind. It's 4 computers ago.


What genre do you prefer to make most? 

Alternative R&B

Name a track you wish you produced.

"Give You The World" by Steve Lacy because it's almost "Prototype" by Outkast lol


What is your most interesting studio story?

The Playlist Retreat in Philadelphia, DJ Jazzy Jeff loads up a new song where he sampled my song "Dough" and sends my heart flying out of my chest

Favourite producers are The Neptunes and favourite artist is impossible to name.


What is your worst musical habit?

Never finishing songs.


What artist do you most want to work with?

Pharrell.


Who is the most famous person in your phone book? And can you tell us how you met?

Idris Elba.

What other roles in the creative industry do you have - artist, videographer etc.?

Singer/songwriter, Studio manager, production course tutor, executive producer.


What do you prefer - the process of creating music in the studio or hearing your music played once released?

The process of creating the music. I hardly listen to a song after it's released. It's no longer for me at that point.


What are your plans for 2023…can you share any exclusive news with us?

Travelling and shocking the haters lmao

Actually be good at what you do.
