Tommy B - No Dramas

*Digga D Voice* Woi Woi Woi Woi Woi! I'm back with another litttty tune for your head-top.

Today I'm going to be chatting about a rising star, one who has very quickly become a Grime scene favourite through his impressive amount of work and skill which has been showcased across many platforms. The rising star I'm talking about is yung microphone champion, Tommy B.

Tommy B solidified his space within the Grime scene from very early on and has been progressing at an alarming rate ever since (in the best way possible, of course). Finally understanding his talent, he's decided to quickly jump to the brother genre of Grime, one that is beloved across all ages - Garage. It's always lush to hear artists perform on other genres, especially when it's done as well as this.

Produced by Z Dot and Krunchie, 'No Dramas' will quickly become a favourite in your summer playlist, providing a gorgeous, sunny vibe that is perfect for beach days, BBQ's and day drinking - we love to see it.

The impressive visual follows Tommy B through his day, between getting a cheeky shape up at the barbers, to a sunny setting with the mandem playing football, to posting up in a gaff shooting pool. The shots and editing are clean AF, with natural lighting and cameos from a few G's and his gorgeous missus. The use of clothing through-out truly represents Tommy B to the fullest, with the mixture of sporting his West Ham top to the classic Grime Originals t-shirt, and every outfit change thereafter.

The hook is SUPER catchy, and I can already see it being screamed back to him at every rave for the next two years. The upbeat instrumental matches his flows perfectly, with his strong Essex accent always peaking through. The use of cameos from the mandem and gyaldem is beautiful, as you can see everyone is genuinely enjoying themselves, creating a very pure and wholesome environment to watch.

Tommy B looks incredibly relaxed through-out, which mirrors his overall demeanour as an effortlessly cold MC. The use of editing and camera angles portrays everyone involved as very happy and lively, which suits the vibe and adds to it by 100%. Towards the end of the visual, we see the setting change to a beach location, where the creative held a mini beachfront rave with decks, mics, the whole shabang. This is exceptionally lit as it gives you a sneaky view of some of the other rising MC's in the scene, and shows how Tommy is always supporting others at the same time as elevating himself.

The visual is innovative, and truly shows how you can create something very sick with a reasonably small budget - as long as you've got the eye for wavey locations, clever directing and a wonderful support network who will back you and gas you up to the fullest (rightly so). There's a few sneaky shots of his merchandise featured through-out also, created around this project, with cameos of people sporting his 'No Dramas' t-shirts.

Seeing and hearing Tommy B master Garage as a genre within one track is mesmerising, seriously highlighting the level of skill inside his bones. The visual is clean, exciting and makes you smile constantly, which is the reaction you would want from watching a music video like this one. The outro shows Tommy B running into the sea, with a glorious sunset in front of him, which rounds off the piece very nicely.
